Nothing is charged online; dakshina is confirmed before the puja. Refund & cancellation policy
How dakshina is worked out
Dakshina is the offering to the pandits for their time, training and the ritual itself. It depends on three things: the puja (a one-hour Ganesh Puja is simpler than a multi-day Maha Mrityunjaya jaap), the number of pandits, and the mode – online by live video, or at a tirth in India on your behalf.
Online live-video pujas
The table shows the starting dakshina for each online puja in USD, with the INR price for families in India. Samagri for an online puja is bought by your family from the list we send, so it is not included in the dakshina.
Tirth pujas and consultations
Pujas at a tirth in India are quoted per request, because travel and local arrangements vary. Jyotish consultations are priced on request and confirmed before we schedule the call; see the consultation page.
Paying and rescheduling
Nothing is charged online. Rescheduling and refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.
Frequently asked questions
Why are prices shown as "from"?
The listed amount is the starting dakshina for the live online puja. The final amount depends on the number of pandits, the length of the japa or path, and any optional parts (such as a havan), and we confirm it with you before the date.
Do you charge my card online?
No. Nothing is charged on the website. We confirm the date, time and dakshina by WhatsApp or email first.
I live in the UK, Canada or Australia. Which currency do I pay in?
Prices are set in US dollars. Our country pages show an approximate amount in GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, SGD or AED as a guide; the exact amount is confirmed before the puja.
Why is a tirth puja quoted separately?
A puja at a tirth in India involves travel, local arrangements and samagri that vary by place and date, so we quote each one on request.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
See our refund and cancellation policy: online pujas can be rescheduled free with at least 24 hours notice, and an advance is refunded in full if you cancel more than 72 hours before the puja.
What every online puja includes
- A muhurat for your city, confirmed in writing in your local time and in IST
- A printable samagri list with substitutes for items that are hard to find abroad
- Sankalp read out live with your family's names, gotra and wish
- The puja performed live on a video call, with pandit ji guiding each offering you make at home
- A recording of the puja afterwards (photos too, for pujas at a tirth)
Samagri, travel for tirth pujas and any extra pandits are quoted separately and confirmed before the date.
