The UAE is home to one of the largest Indian communities outside India, with families across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman. Many work long hours and live in apartment towers, and booking a pandit for a home puja on a specific muhurat can be difficult.
Our pandits are based in India and conduct pujas live over Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video, guiding the family through sankalp, puja and aarti step by step. Rituals traditionally done at a tirth, such as pind daan and asthi visarjan, are performed on your family's behalf at Prayagraj, Kashi, Ayodhya or Mathura-Vrindavan and shown to you live.
Apartment towers in the UAE have strict fire-safety systems, and an indoor fire havan can trigger alarms and building responses. Our smoke-free havan lets the pandit perform the fire havan at a tirth on camera while your family offers ahutis at home without flame or smoke, or with only a ghee lamp. We have no office in the UAE and do not visit homes.

Practical notes for United Arab Emirates
- Samagri is easy to find in Meena Bazaar in Bur Dubai, Karama, Rolla in Sharjah and Indian supermarkets across the emirates. We send a checklist in advance.
- Residential towers in the UAE are fitted with fire alarms and detectors under civil defence requirements. Never cover or disable a detector; choose our smoke-free havan or a ghee-lamp puja.
- The UAE is 1h30m behind IST all year, with no daylight saving. A 7 pm puja in Dubai is 8:30 pm in India, so timing is simple.
- The UAE weekend is Saturday and Sunday for most offices, with a shorter Friday for many; weekend mornings and Friday evenings are popular.
- Summer heat makes balcony or outdoor rituals uncomfortable and open fires are generally not allowed in building common areas; the smoke-free havan works indoors year-round.
- Do not place ashes, flowers or puja offerings in the sea, creek or on beaches. We arrange visarjan and asthi visarjan at a tirth in India.
- Because the time difference is small, relatives in India can join the same video link at a convenient hour.
Festivals in UAE time
- Diwali is a working day in the UAE for many; an evening Lakshmi-Ganesh Puja after office hours aligns closely with Indian pradosh kaal because of the small time difference.
- Navratri falls in September–October as the weather starts to cool; families can join a daily Durga Saptashati Path online after work.
- Maha Shivratri falls in February–March; an online Rudrabhishek allows the whole family to join at home.
- Pitru Paksha in September–October is a common time for pind daan at Prayagraj or Kashi in your family's names, shown live at almost the same time of day.
- During Ramadan, please keep any audio considerate of neighbours; online pujas can be done at a modest volume with headphones if preferred.

What time difference should we plan for?
The UAE is 1h30m behind IST all year, with no daylight saving, so almost any time of day works.
Our building has very sensitive fire alarms. Can we still have a havan?
Yes, with our smoke-free havan: the pandit performs the fire havan at a tirth in India on camera while you offer ahutis at home without flame, or you light a single ghee lamp. Please never cover or disable a detector.
Where can I buy samagri in the UAE?
Meena Bazaar in Bur Dubai, Karama, Rolla in Sharjah and Indian supermarkets across the emirates stock most items. We send a checklist and suggest substitutes.
