Your birth chart (kundli)

Everything in Jyotish starts from the birth chart: the Lagna (rising sign), the Moon sign and the nakshatra the Moon was in. These tools draw the chart in North and South Indian style and tell you how sure the Lagna is if your birth time is approximate.

Timing: dasha, transits and the year ahead

Vedic astrology times events with planetary periods (Vimshottari dasha) and with the current movement of the planets over your chart (gochar). Sade Sati is Saturn's seven-and-a-half-year transit around your Moon sign; Varshphal is the chart for one year of your life.

Marriage and compatibility

Kundli matching scores two charts on the eight Ashtakoot factors (36 gunas) and flags Nadi and Bhakoot dosha. The Mangal dosha check looks at Mars from the Lagna, Moon and Venus and applies the traditional cancellation rules.

Daily panchang and numbers

The panchang gives the day's tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and Rahu Kaal for the city you choose, in local time with IST alongside. Numerology works out your Mulank and Bhagyank from your birth date.

The full chart workspace

For a deeper look, the chart workspace shows the Lagna, Navamsa, Bhava Chalit, Chandra and Gochar charts, planet details, Vimshottari dasha, yogas and doshas, and Ashtakavarga on one page.

How the calculations work

Planetary positions come from the open-source astronomy-engine library and are converted to the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa. Your birthplace sets the time zone and the historical daylight-saving rule. Results are for reflection and learning; they are not medical, legal or financial advice. If a result suggests a remedy, each tool page links to the related puja, and you can always talk to an astrologer first.

Frequently asked questions

Are these astrology tools really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no payment. The calculations run in your browser, and the birth details you enter are kept on your own device so the next tool can reuse them.

Which ayanamsa and house system do you use?

The sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, whole-sign houses from the Lagna, and the mean node for Rahu and Ketu – the conventions most North Indian astrologers use.

I was born outside India. Will the chart be correct?

Yes. The time zone and the daylight-saving rule in force on your birth date are looked up from your birthplace, so a birth in Toronto, London, Sydney or New Jersey is converted correctly. Enter the time exactly as it was on the local clock.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Use the birth-time check: it shows how much the Lagna and Navamsa Lagna would move if the time were off by 30 to 120 minutes. The Moon sign and nakshatra usually stay the same within an hour or two.

Can someone explain my results?

Yes. You can book a one-to-one Jyotish consultation by video with our astrologer, in English or Hindi, at a time that suits your time zone.
